Hello everyone!
Finally I have got some free time and I can write something to you!! :D
It has been an intense month: in addition to my normal routine, my family came to see my "unusual" work place, that is Expo.
I'm so happy that they like it, because I learn a lot of things working there: it's an exciting place, where you can meet a lot of different cultures, languages, point of views.
I had the opportunity to feel like a visitor, living the real atmosphere of wonder which I don't have looking at the "backstage" everyday.
Now I'm starting my summer holiday ( I have got only one week but it's enough for me XD) and I decided not to stay at home, but to visit a wonderful city: Florence, in Tuscany, in the centre of Italy.
I hope to spend a good time!! I have planned everything, from the hotel to the train, from the restaurants to the museums and the palaces I would like to visit (even my sister, who loves Renaissance art, helps me in this hard work, writing down addresses and prices xD)
I don't think I will relax, but I'm happy anyway because I love art, history and literature and I know I can find all of these things in Florence ( I also find a museum of anthropology and ethnology, so I can say I'm very lucky!! )
If I manage to, I will write a first impression about the city tomorrow and, at the end of my four days trip, I will post some photos that, according to me, represent the heart of Florence.
