Anyway, if you have read my previous posts, you should know what is the topic of this last one: the things I dislike about the Star Wars saga and the questions which dawned on me while I was watching the episodes (Warning: you will read my personal point of view, you can agree or disagree).
WHAT I DISLIKE
(spoilers)
Episode II, Attack Of The Clones

Episode II, Attack Of The Clones
I had high expectations, especially because I really liked The Force Awakens (which has been the first film related to Star Wars I have ever seen in my life) and The Phantom Menace. So I got angry when I watched the episode II because of the way the love story had been shown.
Of course, the fact that it is a love story implies doing things which could seem "stupid" in a normal situation, but in this episode they are ridiculously mushy and out of sense, for example the "field scene" when Anakin and Padme roll over the grass.
If you think that there is the parallel story of Obi-Wan who is travelling through the galaxy facing troubles and enemies, who discovers secret plans and a secret army of clones and who finds the planet in which there are Count Dooku and Jango Fett, the love story is a bit irritating.
And then, the scene I hate the most, which summarises my point of view, that is "the cutting of the pear": that's what Anakin has learnt from the Jedi training, how to use telekinesis to approach women. Impressive, really.
Click here to see a funny video, whose title itself is enough meaningful: Anakin Skywalker (trying to seduce Padme and being a drama queen later on).
I could say that the episode II has been ruined by the love story: it was necessary for the plot of the saga, but it could have been displayed much much better.
Yoda and C-3PO (Old Trilogy)
I don't like the changing I see in Yoda and C-3PO. I'm not talking about their appearance, but their attitude.
In the New Trilogy, Yoda is the wisest of the Jedi, the meditative, the one who can perfectly control the Force in battles and in life: he decides to exile himself after the tragic loss of the major part of the Jedi.
Then, when Luke meets him in the swamp of Dagobah, he looks like a crazy elf in search of food who annoys Luke for no reason. Even the training is not so serious and strict, especially if you remember that he refuses to train Anakin because of his age.
C-3PO is not the brave droid, but it is not so useless as it appears in the Old Trilogy. In the New Trilogy, he gives advices and he tries to help as much as he can. Instead, from the episode IV, he plays the part of the clown, but it wasn't funny at all.
Moreover, even the friendship between R2-D2 and C-3PO changes in the two trilogies: in fact, it was deeper in the New, but it becomes shallow in the Old.
Luckily, with the New Trilogy, the producers corrected these things and make these characters memorable and extraordinary.
OUTSTANDING QUESTIONS
Jar Jar Binks
Why do the producers decide to put this character in the saga? Just because, in a moment of the plot of the episode I, they need allies and they have already shown the Gungan of Naboo.
And then, why do they make him so annoying and clumsy? I remember the scene in which, during the battle, he "accidentally" hits the enemies. But then Padme says to him to take her place in the senate: why?
Darth Maul
As Qui-Gon, even Darth Maul can be seen only in the first episode. But, while Qui-Gon is a Jedi master, he is a Sith apprentice. Why do the producers give so much attention on him? Watching the episode, I thought I could have seen him also in the following episode: instead, Obi-Wan kills him, after he kills Qui-Gon.
Boba Fett
It is weird that an important character like Han Solo is entrusted to a secondary character like Boba Fett. In particular, his presence in the episode VI is totally useless.

That's all for now. Maybe, in the future, I will write again about Star Wars, who knows?
Anyway, I'm glad I wrote these four posts and I hope you enjoyed this journey in the galaxy far far away with me and with all the astonishing characters of Star Wars.
Yours, Silvia
